The National Medical Commissioner’s Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) has approved Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College’s renewal of licence for admission of a second batch against an enhanced intake of seats from 150 to 250 MBBS seats.
The National Medical Commission granted authorization for the College to increase 100 seats for the 2020-2021 batch, marking the first renewal of seats.
After reviewing the college’s declaration about compliance with the staffing and infrastructural requirements for running 250 seats, MARB granted clearance.
The renewal of the permit will be valid for one year, and MGM Medical College will have to request for renewal of the permission again the following year.
