Indian Medical Association (IMA) to financially help the families of IMA members who died due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The IMA is going to raise money by donations from its members, the public, and registered institutions.The funding will be done on the basis that deceased should be below 70 years of age, have a life time member of IMA on the date of death, and the cause of the death should be COVID-19.The deceased member should not be eligible for any grant or compensation from the central and state governments.The scrutiny of the applications an d the sanction by the team of office bearers at IMA Hq consisting of National President, Immediate Past President, National President-Elect , National Vice Presidents as per Jurisdiction, Secretary-General and Finance Secretary.
